Fellowships and Support
Since 2002 the PHCRED Queensland programs have provided
Fellowships to over 100 novice researchers working in primary health care
to conduct a research project. The fellowships included supervision and
funding for salary, workshops, conference attendance, etc. Numerous
other novice researchers have received in kind support from PHCRED
program staff.
Our team can facilitate workshops on a number of topics to support your
research and evaluation projects. Topics include Project Implementation,
project planning and evaluation, qualitative and quantitative data gathering
techniques, questionnaire design and data management.

Research Informing Policy Forums
PHCRED Qld is currently planning our 2011 Policy activities to promote
the uptake of research into policy and to provide a platform for a more
cooperative and targeted approach to primary health care research. The
event is a vehicle for initiating discussion on health policy priorities at
national, state and local levels, so that the academic sector can align
itself in planning future research priorities.
