The University of Queensland has recognised renowned ballet dancer and author, Li Cunxin AO, and pioneering chemical engineer, Katherine Hirschfeld AM, with Honorary Doctorates during UQ’s 2023 end-of-year graduations.

Dr Bronwyn Herbert is the embodiment of lifelong learning. At the age of 90, the long-time social worker is graduating from The University of Queensland after completing her PhD thesis on the generational impacts of homelessness.
