UQ based Australian Computer Emergency Response Team ready for Y2K problem

The Australian Computer Emergency Response Team (AusCERT) based at the University of Queensland has prepared a Frequently Asked Questions document about the Y2K problem.

AusCERT Senior Security Analyst, Rob McMillan said the FAQ document was available from URL:

AusCERT is one of the few organisations in Australia recognised internationally as an authoritative source of expertise and information about the Y2K problem
and Internet security.

While AusCERT provides a members only services the FAQ document will be provided free of charge to the public.
