Ms Laurel Johnson from the School of Geography, Planning and Environmental Management is an urban and social planner with more than 20 years’ experience as a practitioner and an educator/researcher. As well as being a full-time academic in the UQ planning program, Ms Johnson manages her own planning consultancy and has government and non-government clients around Australia. Her research interests include resident activism in urban planning, and transport disadvantage and social disadvantage.
