The University of Queensland’s Rugby Football Club is set to re-launch its clubhouse on Saturday May 5.

The club was badly affected by the January 2011 floods and its surrounding rugby field was force to close for a period of time.

UQ Rugby Club Manager and Premier Colts coach Cameron McIntosh said as one of the oldest clubs in Brisbane, the UQ Rugby Football Club is excited to open the doors of its clubhouse once again to members and fans for its first home game this season.

“It’s fantastic to see the club get a re-vamp,” Mr McIntosh said.

“It’s a great way to kick off the season both socially and out on the field.”
