New research on 130 million year old dinosaur tracks at James Price Point, north of Broome, in the remote Kimberley region of WA, by UQ palaeontologist Dr Steve Salisbury and some of his students features on tonight's episode of Catalyst (ABC-1, 8pm).

Dr Salisbury and his team, in collaboration with local dinosaur enthusiasts and Goolarabooloo traditional custodians, show Catalyst's Mark Horstman spectacular dinsosaur tracks that have never been revealed before.

Dr Salisbury said that despite their scientific and cultural significance, these tracks and the pristine coastline on which they occurred were currently under threat.

A $35 billion LNG industrial development has been proposed in the area by the Western Australian Government, Woodside Petroleum and its Joint Venture Partners.
