Strategic direction and leadership of teaching and learning at the University is the responsibility of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Joanne Wright.


A diverse range of areas impact on the teaching and learning experience at UQ for both students and staff.  The University's governance structure is headed by Senate and includes the senior executive and a number of committees, of which the Academic Board is the senior academic advisory body. Teaching and learning strategic priorities are provided by the University's Strategic Plan, the Teaching and Learning Enhancement Plan.
