Market stalls, a rock concert, outback barbecue and sport survivor challenge will welcome in the new study year as part of The University of Queensland’s orientation program from February 25 to March 1.
To help prepare students for life on campus, there will be information on programs and courses, academic support, student survival tips, information technology training and tours of UQ’s award-winning library.
Students who undertake library tours at the St Lucia, Ipswich and Gatton campuses will be rewarded with either a free coffee or ice cream.
All campuses also have Market Days that showcase clubs and societies, sport and recreation activities. They also provide community information, and have market stalls, showbags, music and entertainment.
