Event Description
- Full Description:
- One in five Australians experience a mental illness in any year, with anxiety and depression being some of the most common disorders. While there are some treatments available, many people do not respond well, often experiencing side effects, making treatment options limited.
During Mental Health Week 2020, join Queensland Brain Institute researchers Dr Susannah Tye, Dr Dhanisha Jhaveri and psychiatrist Dr Phil Mosley for a live webinar where they will discuss what is happening in the brains of people with depression, why current medications are sometimes ineffective, and alternative treatments for people living with depression.
