Join us for two talks as part of the 2019 HMNS Seminar series.

'Reflections on Biomechanics course re-design through the UQ2U program' by A/Prof Glen Lichtwark from the UQ School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences (HMNS). This presentation will focus on the UQ2U program experience to re-develop 'the Biomechanics' undergraduate course. The discussion will focus on the basic principles informing the redesign, the technology used to implement digital aspects, and also provide some initial data on the engagement with the digital resources.

'Management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD): Why every respiratory team needs a clinical exercise physiologist and a dietitian' by Dr Peter Collins from HMNS. Peter will present the effectiveness of multi-modal nutrition and exercise interventions in improving clinical and economic outcomes for patients living with COPD. It will also highlight the potential for innovation in improving delivery of care.
