- The Centre for Marine Science (CMS) comprises one of the largest and most diverse group of marine scientists and engineers in Australia. CMS hosts a monthly seminar to highlight the work of early career researchers. This month, Kelly-Anne Masterman will present on streptococcal pathogenesis in barramundi, discussing how her work seeks to determine how S. iniae evades, inhibits or kills these immune phagocytes. Jimena Samper-Villarreal will present her work on the dynamics of carbon storage in seagrass meadows, highlighting the drivers underlying the spatial and temporal variability of carbon storage in these habitats.
