Full Description:: White Halo Ensemble was established in 2014 as UQ Music’s Ensemble-in-Residence. White Halo Ensemble is a creative collaboration between four of Australia's most experienced and versatile chamber musicians.

Taking its name from the halo effect that forms behind supersonic jets as they break the sound barrier, the group seeks to break barriers and explore new terrain within the art of chamber music. With roots in the great music of the past, White Halo also grows the music of the present, having already commissioned major Australian composers such as Paul Dean, Andrew Ford, Matthew Hindson, and James Ledger.

UQ's School of Music will host this exclusive event which all UQ staff and alumni are encouraged to attend and RSVP is essential.
