Full Description:: Ease of entry, ease of exit, try before you buy, and endlessly variable definitions of 'successful' engagement. These are all characteristics of professional learning (or CPD) courses, but we could just as well be talking about MOOCs. In this seminar CIPL presents a framework for thinking about (and evaluating) engagement, attrition and impact in these large, permeable, online courses.
