Event Description

Full Description:
Have you ever received a business letter or viewed a business’s website that was full of spelling and grammatical mistakes? Have you ever been in a place of business where an employee's hair and/or clothes were a real mess? Well, now you know what not to do when it comes to professional business etiquette and communication.

When you first start professional employment, business etiquette and communication is expected but who is there to tell you what to do? Adam Culligan from Unigrad will be on campus to impart his experience and knowledge on what business etiquette and communication is and how it can improve your success in the workplace.

This workshop will cover information on:
• What is the difference between professional communication and emailing your friends
• Your appearance and why it’s important to make an effort in the workplace
• Knowing your audience
• The difference between professional confidence and being cocky

Registration for this workshop is essential as spaces are limited.
