Full Description:
A Japanese water harp (suikinkutsu) will be installed as part of the Sound Garden at the Roma St Parkland lead by a Kyoto garden master, Mr Kubo Yoshinobu in collaboration with Brisbane architect Will Marcus (ARGO).

Turrbal People's dreaming, the Rainbow Serpent, has been incorporated into the garden design with a permission of the traditional ownders of the land. This project addresses an importance of 'Creativity & Sustainability' designed by a UQ academic Dr Kumi Kato, and funded by Arts Qld grant art+place.

First Sound Ceremony will be held from 4pm Friday 30th to complete this cross-cultural art that celebrates our connection with the land.
