Event Description

Full Description:
Join us for this July's TalkFest, which brings together marine scientists from UQ and their collaborators to share current research. The Centre for Marine Science (CMS) hosts TalkFest bi-annually alongside UQ's student marine society (MSUQ) with the intention of increasing communication among UQ researchers and external marine scientists.

The seven speakers at this month's TalkFest will explore a range of topics from the mysterious eating and reproductive ways of sea hares, to understanding ecological grief on the Great Barrier Reef, and an exciting introduction into the Marine Bioproducts Cooperative Research Centre (MB-CRC), and plenty more!

A COVID-safe catered lunch will be provided in the middle of the day so please indicate your attendance and dietary requirements with your online RSVP. Registration is essential to ensure you get one of the limited seats at the event. There will also be a Zoom option for anyone who can not attend in person.

TalkFest is generously supported by the Goodman Foundation.
