- University Hall in Townsville is celebrating its 50th year as a Co-educational Residential Hall next month on July 21-23.
In 1967, JCU was still the Townsville University College - and was part of UQ until 1970. Therefore, some of the University Hall alumni of 1967 actually graduated from UQ and therefore are recorded as UQ alumni and not JCU alumni.
We are endeavouring to make this UQ sub-group aware of the pending Uni Hall 50th celebrations.
