- 2015 Guest Speaker; Professor Sir Martyn Poliakoff
Green Chemistry is shifting focus toward ‘designer solvents’ such as supercritical fluids and ionic liquids to reduce waste and environmental impact.
In this lecture Professor Poliakoff will discuss why we should take another look at traditional solvents and use them in non-traditional ways.
Professor Poliakoff will provide recent examples from his laboratory showing how industry and academia can work together to deliver cleaner, environmentally more acceptable processes for making chemicals and materials.
