Event Description
- Full Description:
- Traditionally, researchers have assigned their copyright to publishers who, in return, have published their scholarly outputs in hardcopy or in restricted-access electronic journals. Open access scholarly publishing approaches copyright in a different way, allowing authors to make their works accessible on the open web and enabling the
maximisation of their research impact.
Speaker: Tom Joyce, UQ Copyright Lawyer
This event is presented by the UQ Library as part of Open Access Week, 20-26 October 2014.
