Course description
This course will encompass wide-ranging and detailed analytical methods to examine the multiplicity of styles of popular music, with particular emphasis on how knowledge of compositional elements including melody, harmony, arranging, orchestration, stylistic performance and recording technology help provide the foundation and focus of contemporary production styles and techniques.
