Apart from providing key storage and logistical services, the Warehouse Building (No.99) has become a provider of renewable energy and a hub of green  transport for the St Lucia campus. Its 164 kWp PV system powers various loads, including one of UQ's  Electrical Vehicle (EV) charging stations.

The 164 kWp system of the Warehouse Building (No. 99) is expected to produce 240,000 kWh per year. By powering one of the two EV charging stations installed at the St Lucia campus, this system also marks another milestone in UQ's sustainable transport strategy .
