PEF Molecular Cloning Workshop 2017

With over a decade of experience generating thousands of cloned constructs, the Protein Expression Facility has accumulated a wealth of knowledge in molecular cloning. At this workshop, some simple and effective strategies can be learned and implemented to assist students and researchers achieve successful cloning outcomes. The molecular cloning workshop presents a golden opportunity to learn the tips and tricks directly from the protein experts at PEF. We are here to help you upskill!

The workshop will also feature a special guest presentation from the Australian Genome Research Facility (AGRF) to share their expertise in Sanger sequencing.  The sessions will include question and answer forum’s; and the opportunity to network and discuss your project over afternoon tea.

Who should attend?

The cloning workshop is open to all UQ Honours and Research Higher Degree students and research staff.

Date: Thursday 9th March 2017

Time: 1:00 – 4:30pm

Venue: AIBN Seminar Room, Level 1

Cost: Free

Afternoon tea will be provided for all registered participants
