Children's Life Skills Clinic

The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences is providing a Skills Development Program to grade one and prep students at St Brendan's Catholic Primary School in Brisbane. The Skills Development Program (SDP) will assist children by providing skills they can use to cope with change to environment, living conditions and education. The benefits for university students is the practical experience students gain by using their knowledge and skills UQ's Occupational Therapy program has given them. Also, the experience of working with children from different backgrounds and cultures broadens their experience and better equips them for employment after they graduate.
