Continuing UQ Ipswich students can tap into more than $40,000 worth of scholarships on offer this year under the campus’s scholarship scheme.
Applications close Friday, March 25 for awards ranging from $1000 to $5000 each. Some are specific to individual study programs while others, such as the Friends of UQ Ipswich and Ipswich City Council City of Ipswich scholarships, are open to all students.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Ipswich) Professor Alan Rix said the scholarships were generously donated by numerous businesses and organisations within the Ipswich region.
“This exceptional level of support reflects the strong links between this University and the Ipswich community, and the resultant benefits for students,” Professor Rix said.
“These business and organisations have our sincere thanks for their ongoing commitment to the campus and our students.”
