About 300 South East Queensland primary school students will take part in activities ranging from crime scene investigations, dancing, and robotics at The University of Queensland St Lucia campus on 15 September.
The Brisbane Explorama learning enrichment program is run by Kids College Queensland.
Event organiser Jason Green said the event attracted gifted students from Brisbane, Gold Coast and Toowoomba schools.
“Explorama provides local high achieving, academic students with direction and connects them with The University of Queensland or the University of the Sunshine Coast,” Mr Green said.
“We invite schools to attend and they select their gifted students.
“The aim of the program is to provide students with the opportunity to work with other like-minded children and be guided by amazing, passionate and talented workshop leaders as they immerse themselves in a full day of critical thinking, problem-solving and creativity.”
The day features 20 courses, including in maths, science, clay animation, iFilm Maker, computer game programming, robotics, painting, drama and dance.
Registrations are open until 30 August.
