If you're planning to attend university in 2013, you can meet with expert advisers from The University of Queensland (UQ) at Australia’s largest tertiary studies expo next weekend.

The 2012 Tertiary Studies Expo (TSXPO) will be held at Brisbane’s RNA showgrounds on July 21 and 22 from 10am-4pm.

UQ representatives will be out in force to help prospective students identify the degree programs that best match their talents and aspirations.

UQ School Liaison manager Steve Forster said TSXPO was a good opportunity for people to sample the range and depth of UQ programs.

“Students can ask our friendly staff, questions ranging from accommodation, admissions, program, courses and entry requirements, to campus facilities,” Mr Forster said.

UQ College will be at the expo to discuss the Tertiary Preparation Program and the Associate Degree in Business - an alternative pathway for students to access UQ’s Bachelor of Business Management (BBusMan).

The University will also hold a number of education and career seminars during the two-day event.

Seminar topics are in the areas of law, economics, occupational health & science, business, nursing, midwifery, hospitality, veterinary science, agriculture, arts and human movement studies.

Prospective students will also have the opportunity to examine the University more closely at UQ Open Day across the St Lucia, Ipswich and Gatton campuses in August.
