Leximancer, a start-up company from The University of Queensland's Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, is proud to announce the release of version 4.0 of its pioneering text-analytics platform.

"We have been saying for some time that Leximancer will get you to results much faster than any of our competitors," said General Manager, Mac Exon-Taylor.

"Now with Leximancer 4.0, it's even easier to use and generate valuable insights into your data."

Brisbane-based Leximancer Pty Ltd has invested significantly in improving its user interface and has simplified the user experience through a compelling new look without having to add to the price.

"Our customers now have a choice between the traditional Concept Map interface and our new Concept Cloud," said Chief Scientist, Dr Andrew Smith.

"Both interfaces are fully interactive allowing you drill from broad themes and concepts into the text itself.

"Leximancer 4.0 looks great and you can run an analysis of vast quantities of text with almost no set-up at the click of a button – but we haven't forgotten that transparency and scientific integrity are hallmarks of our technology.

"Leximancer still allows users to verify that the outputs they get are supported by their data."

Mr Exon-Taylor said Leximancer customers would also be pleased with the significantly improved processing times, easier data import and increased language support delivered by Leximancer 4.0.

"Among the enterprise-grade text analytics solutions, Leximancer clearly represents the best lowest Total Cost of Ownership choice," Mr Exon-Taylor said.

Mr Exon-Taylor said Leximancer was well-advanced in developing a suite of products that would be focused on more specific user needs.

"Leximancer 4.0 is the beginning of a new look for our product suite that we will roll-out progressively over the next few months with the aid of new partners in Europe and the USA,” he said.

"In response to our customers, we are developing tailored solutions for survey analysis, marketing research, social media monitoring and enhanced search."
