A construction worker has died following an accident this morning on a project under construction by Hooker Cockram on The University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus.

It is believed that the worker had been hit by a falling object.

Despite receiving CPR until the arrival of Queensland Ambulance officers, the worker was unable to be revived.

The University is providing counseling for Hooker Cockram construction workers and other staff affected by the incident.
