Graduates have been lining up this week to get their photo taken in front of the three new plinths located around The University of Queensland’s (UQ) St Lucia campus.

These plinths are primarily designed as a backdrop for photographs for graduating students, but they could also be used for photographs of visitors, school groups or on any other occasion.

A project of UQ’s Property and Facilities Division, the plinths feature a sandstone base and glass sign with UQ Crest and removable date.

They are located in Campbell Place; on the path to the UQ Lakes bus stop, near Staff House Road; and outside of the UQ Centre at the south-eastern corner.
