A sub-contractor is receiving treatment at Royal Brisbane Hospital after sustaining a head injury at a construction site at Old Cooper Road, St Lucia at about 6am today.
The worker was demolishing a dividing besser brick wall during an internal refit of two offices at the Molecular Biosciences Building when a small section of wall fell on him.
He is being monitored for concussion.
The University of Queensland has been advised that Workplace Health and Safety will investigate the incident.
