Researchers in the Musculoskeletal Pain and Injury Research Unit at The University of Queensland are seeking volunteers with pain at the front of their knee to participate in groundbreaking research into the common condition.

Suitable volunteers will undergo six weeks of free physiotherapy treatment, and have their progress monitored at six, 12 and 52 weeks.

Volunteers should be aged 18 to 40, with pain at the front of their knee that affects their ability to do daily activities or exercise.

Suitable volunteers will be asked to attend an assessment at the University’s St Lucia campus (free parking available), to determine whether they are eligible to participate.

The project is funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council and orthotic company Vasyli International.
