The University of Queensland’s psychology clinic is asking parents of children diagnosed with an intellectual impairment, an Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Asperger syndrome or Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder to help in an important research project.

The project will evaluate strategies from a well-known parenting program and measure the overall well-being and parenting style of participants.

Volunteers in the research will provide valuable information about the appropriateness and acceptability of the existing program. The project could also result in new programs designed for children with a specific disorder.

Sessions for all programs will be run during four weeks from June to July and be held on Saturdays in the Psychology Clinic at The University of Queensland, St. Lucia.
