Open Days

Latest COVID-19 advice: As a precautionary response to slow the rate of community transition of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), UQ has cancelled the 2020 Moreton Bay Research Station Open Day. See the latest UQ community COVID-19 advice.

We’re passionate about our community and the environment, and invite you to see what we do at our next Moreton Bay Research Station Open Day.

Every year we open our doors to the public so you can meet our academic and support staff, and learn about how we make a difference and how you can get involved in our work.

Activities for all ages

Open Day visitors of all ages see science in action through a range of activities, including:

  • equipment demonstrations
  • Moreton Bay discovery cruises
  • traditional knowledge sharing activities
