Become a Friend of the Station

Supporters who give more than $500 (tax deductible) can become a Friend of the Station. As a Friend of the Station, you receive a free supporter t-shirt, a personalised tour of the Research Station, acknowledgement of your support with your name on a plaque on the Station as well as your name printed in the Island Research Newsletter which you will receive a copy of each year.

While the Moreton Bay Research Station does not currently have an active volunteer program, they do have researchers who require volunteers at times. For a list of researchers who use the Station, please visit our Research Activities page. You can contact these researchers to enquire about volunteering with their research groups. Alternatively, the Centre for Marine Science hosts a volunteer database where volunteers can connect with researchers requiring assistance.

Purchase Merchandise

A range of affordable merchandise and books are available on the Station. Hats, caps, polo shirts and t-shirts in a number of designs and sizes can be found for sale in the Administration Office. If you can't make it to MBRS, please email or call to discuss purchasing an item via mail order.
