Event Description

Full Description:
Current microstructure numerical calculation tools, in particular polycrystalline aggregate calculations, and defect assessment by local geometry reconstruction, provide access to local mechanical fields, at the microstructural scale and constitute a major asset in the understanding and development of adapted methodologies. The purpose of this presentation will be to illustrate different methodologies and problems associated with this type of approach as well as the perspectives in terms of calculation-experience dialogue particularly in the field of fatigue properties of additive manufactured materials.
