- Topic: UQ Safety Seminar Series: Overview of Employee Assistance Program reports: What is impacting staff?
Facilitator: Jacqui Dean HSW Advisor (Wellness)
UQ engages an external provider, Benestar, to provide counselling and wellbeing services to staff. Benestar provide a quarterly overview of usage rates and reasons for presentation to the service. While the reports are a broad overview (no individual data identified) they can still provide some valuable information to UQ in terms of the types of issues affecting staff and impact on work. Safety professionals may benefit from this session to assist with wellbeing planning and further understanding the types of concerns staff are managing.
