- Join us to celebrate Harmony Day at the UQ Harmony Day Symposium on Thursday 21 March.
Harmony Day is celebrated nationally on 21 March each year, and focuses on celebrating inclusion, respect, and belonging for everyone from all cultural or linguistic backgrounds.
This year’s theme “Everyone Belongs” focuses on celebrating the diversity within Australia, where people of all backgrounds can feel that they belong.
The symposium will feature a panel discussion with some of UQ’s culturally diverse staff around the theme “Everyone Belongs”, and how we can better create a welcoming and inclusive University for culturally diverse staff and students. The event will be followed by a networking lunch, featuring a culturally diverse menu.
