BrisAsia Festival is an annual event showcasing contemporary and traditional Asian arts and cultural, programs and initiatives. The program features a variety of free activities to experience and celebrate Brisbane's diverse Asian communities.
In collabroation with BrisAsia Festival and UQ Union's e-Sports club, The UQ Life Team will be hosting 'Get your Geek on' during Connect Week. This event is a must for all Comicon, e-Sports, gaming, Cosplay and Anime lovers.
Open to UQ Students as well as the wider community; Get your Geek on will be sure to satifsy the inner geek in us all. Take part in a number of workshops, activities and live panels; watch the QUY vs UQ e-Sport stream live on the big screen; grab a drink at the Cosplay Cafe; and enjoy a number of Asian films and Anime's Got Talent on stage. This event will run all day on Wednesday 27 February from 9.30am - 8.00pm in the Holt and Heath Room, UQ Union Complex.
