Event Description

Full Description:
Matt Meredith, Senior Radiographer - Forensic Pathology, Forensic and Scientific Services, Department of Health, presents:

Forensic CT: The dead can’t speak…or can they?

The CT scanning of deceased persons has revolutionised the coronial death investigation process here in Queensland and indeed in many districts throughout the world. More and more forensic pathologists are embracing the technology as the undeniable benefits are recognised across the coronial spectrum from death by natural causes through to complicated homicide. This presentation will elaborate on some of those benefits and will highlight the utility of the various image reconstruction methods by demonstrating a vast array of interesting cases.

All welcome and no RSVP required! All guests are welcome to join us for morning tea following the seminar.
