Event Description

Full Description:
Our new Essential Social Analysis Skills course provides high-quality training to equip people in industry and government with the skills to apply social science methods in their work, to produce sound evidence to inform decision making on a wide range of issues. This course is designed for those who need to use, understand, and interpret statistical information, but who may not necessarily have a background or training in statistics, or need to refresh their skills before moving on to more advanced techniques.
This course bridges the gap between statistics and policy and practice, by demystifying the world of statistical analysis, showing you how to make your data work for you, how to work with your data, and building your capacity for applying scientific research to your work.
This course will be led by Dr Yangtao Huang, an applied social statistician who has extensive experience in universities and international organisations.
