Centre for Metals in Biology symposium 2018
September 20, AIBN level 1 seminar room, 1.30 - 5 pm

Metals are essential components of all living cells, and this will be highlighted at this year’s CMB symposium.

This year’s main speaker, Prof Liz Gillam (UQ) will talk about:
- Hot enzymes from the distant past: Looking back to the future of enzyme engineering

This seminar will be followed by afternoon tea, a poster session, and three shorter presentations by ECR researcher covering topics in structural biology, bioremediation and novel therapeutics. The two best posters on a research project involving metals in biological systems will receive a people’s choice poster prize.
