- Stress is experienced by many university students. Contrary to popular opinion, managing stress is not about reducing or avoiding it, but rethinking it, and even embracing it (McGonigal, 2015). Changing mindset about stress can help you to be healthier, happier, and better able to attain your goals. In this presentation, psychologist, Dr Sue Jackson will discuss key concepts in positive psychology that can help you to harness stress to be your ally.
This is a free event. Light refreshments will be provided.
The talk will commence at 3pm. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior.
All UQ Postgraduate Students (Coursework and HDR) may attend.
