Full Description:
Now in its 15th year, the series of Winter Schools has provided bioinformatics training to over 3000 students, postdocs and ECR's in the biosciences and other fields. With over 30 international and national research leaders presenting across the week, it is designed to introduce bioinformatics, mathematical and computational biology to advanced undergraduate and postgraduate students, post-doctoral researchers and others working in the fields of biology, mathematics, statistics, computer science, information technology, medical sciences and engineering. This year's program includes sessions on next generation sequencing & bioinformatics, data science and machine learning for bioinformatics, bio-data analysis and visualisation, and advanced microscopy analysis and modelling. Satellite Genomics Virtual Laboratory and Software Carpentry Bootcamp events all also being hosted. All welcome!
