Event Description
- Full Description:
- In this Masterclass we will consider the challenges political science researchers face when dealing with complex environmental policy problems that are predicated in natural science analytics.
What are the ways in which scholars trained in conventional social science methods can tackle such problems using a range of methodological tools. Professor Ali will share examples from his own interdisciplinary research which has employed a range of both quantitative, spatial and qualitative methods. We will consider how methods from social science complement natural science methods and how to effectively work in complex epistemic research teams which can harness such synergies. There are two short readings which all participants should do before the masterclass and will be shared with all registered participants.
