The Faculty of Medicine is creating change through practical learning experiences

Medicine is as much a calling as it is a profession. I love it, I’m very passionate, and I want to instil in the students a passion for medicine.
Dr Tony Brown FRCP, FACEM. UQ Professor of Emergency Medicine

The University of Queensland has a very strong relationship with Queensland Health and clinicians at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital. Through the School of Medicine’s Critical Care course, medical students are exposed to an amazing array of clinical cases across anaesthesia, intensive care and emergency departments, and are taught how to look after patients with a range of conditions. By learning to see the world differently, UQ medical students are creating change.
