Application Process

How to apply

Students who meet the eligibility and selection criteria are invited to submit an application for the 2013-2014 UQ Young Scholars Program.

Applicants are required to complete an online application form and submit appropriate supporting documentation by post, including:

• Copy of Semester 1, Year 11 School Report,
• 300 word typed personal statement, and
• Evidence of financial hardship (if applicable)

The application must be signed and supported by the student's parent/guardian and endorsed by his/her School.

Before applying, students should read the YSP Application Guidelines.

Applications for the 2013-2014 UQ Young Scholars Program will open late May 2013.

Complete applications must be received by UQ by 5pm Friday, 9 August 2013.

Late applications will not be considered. 

Students will be notified of the outcome of their application in late August 2013.
