About the Young Scholars Program

The University of Queensland's Young Scholars Program (YSP) provides high achieving secondary school students with an opportunity to discover, learn and engage with UQ's academic community and like-minded students from across Queensland. Designed to nurture and develop future leaders, the Program also presents students with a unique opportunity for academic extension and enrichment.

UQ Young Scholars are challenged to think critically about some of today's major global issues and throughout their participation, are exposed to a wide range of potential study areas and career opportunities.
