These marks are universal. The three handprints represent the three skin types white, brown and black. Each colour depicts a different race, but when they are grouped together - they are no longer disconnected. They are a whole community. The hand prints are the same size and shape - representing our equality. It was the referendum that changed the Australian Constitution giving this equality to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
