Formerly the Veterinary School Farm, this large property is still home to the 120 pedigree Droughtmaster herd established by the Veterinary School and also houses the national office of the Droughtmaster Society.  Herd Health visits are performed by students as well as some farm management and beef handling skills and the animal reproduction research laboratories are based on the farm.  Having a firm place in the history of the Veterinary School and a warm place in the hearts of alumni and students annual student events are still accommodated in the barns as a rural location barely 15 minutes from the centre of the city.
