 Goondiwindi Pastoral Veterinary Centre

Goondiwindi is the hub of a rich farming and agricultural district and the centre enables our final year student veterinarians to gain training with large and small animals in the field in "real life" situations. Research has always been an integral intention of the overall mission of the Pastoral Veterinary Centre, although opportunity has varied with the personnel and resources available.

History:
The Goondiwindi Pastoral Veterinary Centre was set up in 1965 "to establish a centre for teaching and research in veterinary practice". The Centre is located at Goondiwindi 360kms west of Brisbane on the Queensland/NSW border.
